About McVic Guitar & Audio

After working extensively in the electronics and engineering industry for more than 30 years, Steve McVicker, the owner of McVic Guitar & Audio, started working with music equipment as an escape from corporate America. As an experienced guitarist, he quickly noticed that the amps he came across were not of the same quality as they were when he was growing up. With his mechanical knowledge, Steve began rebuilding and refurbishing amps using high end components with the goal of replicating the inimitable quality of early amplifiers.

After working out of a basement on a great deal of amps for friends and others, Steve established McVic Guitar & Audio, a small custom guitar and audio shop in Milford, Pennsylvania, that designs and builds custom guitar amps and effects. All products that we provide are designed and built right here at our studio by Steve. We work with a group of very talented local musicians that test and evaluate our designs to make sure they are the best for you. We also provide any and all types of repairs or modifications that you may need.
